      Summer concerts in giardini Margherita, opposite Piazzale Marconi.
4 concerts on Tuesday evenings, during the whole month of August, to listen to some good music and relax in one of the most beautiful gardens of Piacenza.

The real pianoless trio in
Charlie Parket Project
Mattia Cigalini (sax alto), Luca Garlaschelli (double bass), Toni Arco (drums)
One of the most prominsing Italian solo players with a 10 years' experience in jazz music. A repertoire dedicated to C. Parker revisited by a special band, playing without the support of any harmonic intruments.

Swing Timer Quintet
Marco Bianchi (vibraphone), Alfredo Ferrario (clarinet), Davide Corini (piano), Roberto Piccolo (double bass), Marco Castiglioni (drums)
a swing band, composed by remarkable artists: Marco Bianchi, one of the main specialists in this istruments, plays the vibraphone; Alfredo Ferrario, famous traditional jazz solo player, accompanied by valuable rhytmics.

Luca Pasqua & Nunzio Rossi
Electric jazz
Luca Pasqua (guitar), Nunzio Rossi (keyboards), Piero Orsini (bass), Pino Di Trenta (drums)
Nunzio Rossi, piano player, well known in the jazz world, presents his new CD, 'Planet'. Performing with three young Italian jazz players and presenting a whole new repertoire.

Paolo Tomellieri Qintet
Paolo Tomellieri (clarinet), Emilio Soana (trumpet), Sergio Farina (guitar), Luca Garlaschelli (double bass), Toni Arco (drums)
Paolo Tomelleri and Emilio Soana, two of the most important Italian solo players, perform most of the history of Italian jazz. A thirty-year-old duet which ahs already performed hundreds of concerts.

A chamber music duet performing a repertoire by authors like Bizet, Satie, Shedrin, Wieniawsky, Rust. Both musicians have already cooperated with the best Italian chamber and sympnohinc music performers.

Alessio Nebiolo (guitar) e Nadio Marengo (Accordion)
Two internationally renowned artists, winners of competitions in different parts of Europe, performing music by Vivaldi, Rossini, Rodrigo and Piazzola.

Trio L'armoniasonora
Luca Stocco (oboe), Michele Naglieri (clarinet) Giacomo Cella (bassoon)
Group specialised in performing music from the French 20th century and opera.
Tuesday 31st August
Claude Bolling: sonata N. 1 and N. 2 for two pianos, double bass and drums
A crossover repertoire, ranging from classical music to jazz.
Claude Bolling is the inventor of this music genre, based on jazz sounds and academic music.
